How to make Shahi Paneer

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm paneer cube
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 no bay leaves
  • 1 no cloves
  • 1 no cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1.1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 2 tbsp kaju paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp kasoori methi crushed
  • 2 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan add bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon, red chilies sauté for half minute.
  • Add onions and sauté till golden brown. Add ginger and garlic paste and continue to sauté for one to two minutes, stirring continuously. Add all spices. Stirring continuously add pureed tomato and stir. Cook till oil separates from the masala.
  • Add half cup of water. And milk cook covered on low heat for two to three minutes. Add paneer pieces.
  • sprinkle kasoori methi and mix in lightly. Remove from heat and mix in cream.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
