Ingredients
  

  • 6 no fillets boneless fish
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds.
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger julienne
  • 2 no green chilies chopped
  • 4 no onions grated.
  • 14 no curry leaves.
  • 2 no tomatoes pureed & strained.
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 cups coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil.
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds stir heat until they begin to splutter.
  • add garlic and ginger and stir for a half minute add green chilies. Add onions and sauté until brown. Add all spices and tomatoes. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Add fish salt and vinegar.
  • Cover and simmer for a few minutes till the fish is almost tender then add coconut milk. Stir only once or twice and very gently to make sure that the fillets do not break.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning. Garnish with coriander leaves
