Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole Urad dal
  • 1/4 cup Rajma
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 green chilies
  • 1 no cinnamon
  • 2-3 no cloves
  • 2 no cardamoms
  • 2 no finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Deggi mirch powder
  • 2 cups fresh tomato puree
  • 1/2 cup fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tbsp fresh cream for the garnish

Instructions
 

  • Wash and soak Dal for overnight
  • Boiled dal in about three cups of water, along with salt, cinnamon, cloves, and cardamoms Cook till tender and well blended.
  • Heat ghee and butter in pan add the cumin seeds When they begin to splutter then onions sauté till the onions turn golden brown in colour.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste cook for while then add all spices and tomato puree cook till oil separates from the spices.
  • Add the dal, and water if required and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes.
  • Add the cream and mix well. Simmer for 2 to 3 more minutes.
  • Serve hot garnished with coriander and fresh cream.
